Feedback on Child Safety

The safety and wellbeing of our students is strengthened through partnerships with students, parents, carers, and families. We welcome feedback and suggestions that help us continuously improve our Child Safety Framework and the ways we support and protect children and young people.

Enrolments

Generally speaking, patients at the Royal Children's Hospital and their siblings are eligible for enrolment where there is likely to be a negative impact to their long-term educational outcomes due to disruption or absence from schooling. Full eligibility criteria and the process for enrolment is outlined in our school’s Enrolment policy.

School zones

Information about school zones is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.

 Our school is not a designated neighbourhood school and does not have a school zone. Enrolment at schools like ours, as well as any select entry, specialist and specific purpose school, is determined based on the school’s local Enrolment policy and/or Entry criteria.

Parent payments

Under the Department of Education’s Parent Payments Policy, Victorian government schools are required to provide transparent information to their school community on voluntary parent/carer contributions.

Our school does not request any payments or contributions, and all services are provided at no cost to parents/carers.
