The Medical Education team at RCH supports the education, training and professional development of medical staff across the hospital. 

Our team works with RCH medical staff, supporting their learning and development throughout their career journey — from interns and residents through to registrars and fellows.

Our programs are designed to build the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality paediatric care, while supporting medical staff to engage in learning opportunities that meet their clinical and professional needs.
We deliver a range of education initiatives, including:

• Medical orientation 
• Junior resident teaching sessions
• Clinical skills training
• Paediatric Pearls Podcast – providing an accessible and flexible education platform for advanced trainees and medical staff across RCH, the podcast explores contemporary clinical topics and complements face-to-face teaching to support ongoing learning and professional development.
