Education and training

  • The Fertility Preservation Service is committed to promoting an excellent standard education for health providers and consumers. We engage in a range of activities including: 

    • Professional development through attendance at national and international conferences 
    • Education through Grand Rounds, multi-disciplinary team meetings and publications and hosting National Oncofertility Summits
    • Participation in multi-disciplinary research with collaborative partners (The Royal Women’s Hospital, The University of Melbourne The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Australasian Oncofertility consortium and Global Oncofertility consortium)
    • Development of guidance (institutional, statewide and national)
    • Provision of training and induction for teams involved in fertility care
