Lantus insulin name change

From 1 July, 2020 Optisulin (insulin glargine) is the new name for Lantus (insulin glargine) insulin.

There will be a change over period from 1 January, 2020 until the 30 June, 2020 where Lantus is still available.

From 1 July, 2020 Lantus will be de-listed from the PBS and Optisulin will be prescribed by your endocrinologist in its place.
