Once your child is placed on the waiting list a nurse from the Pre Admission team will call you to go through the Pre Surgery screening checklist. If follow up is required with an anaesthetist, an appointment will be discussed. Appointments are available as phone call, telehealth and face to face.

Referrals

Referrals can be made to the department by after speaking with your GP or any medical practitioner involved in your child's care. These referrals can be emailed, faxed or mailed in (refer to Contact Us). Staff are available to discuss your child's upcoming surgery and any questions you or they may have regarding this.
