Will Alexander

    Mr Will Alexander obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide, and went on to specialise in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He trained in the major tertiary centres in Victoria, including The Alfred, Peter MacCallum, Royal Melbourne, The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), and St Vincent’s hospitals. He undertook further microsurgery training in Coimbatore, India; and has volunteered his time in both Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Will completed his formal Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at the RCH in Melbourne.

    Will’s special interests include paediatric and adult hand surgery, nerve (facial and peripheral) surgery, and reconstructive microsurgery. At the RCH Will particularly enjoys working closely with other surgical and non-surgical teams, to achieve the best outcomes in even the most challenging situations.

    He has presented and published research extensively on the national and international surgical forum, on a broad range of topics including nerve, trauma, burns, and cancer surgery.

    He is an accredited Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
