Once a year, the Ophthalmology Department at the Royal Children's Hospital holds the Paediatric Ophthalmology Seminar. This seminar is designed for ophthalmology registrars in their 3rd year of training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. It is a three-day intensive short course held over two consecutive weekends that aims to provide participants with a combination of didactic teaching, problem solving, informal discussion as well as "hands-on experience" to enable them to approach paediatric ophthalmological problems confidently.

The date for the virtual seminar in 2022 is Sat 15 and Sun 16 October.   The date for the face-to-face, live patient event is Saturday 22 October.

Registration form found here and can be emailed to paediatric.seminar@rch.org.au when registration opens 11am EST on Monday 6 June.

Registration for the live patient day will close when capacity (20 registrants) is reached. Registration for the virtual event will close 5pm Monday 10 October.
