The Nursing Workforce Unit (NWU) provides an important service at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) by mobilising our permanent pool and casual nursing staff to cover vacancies across the hospital. 

Our goal is to provide flexible, responsive and sustainable nursing workforce solutions across the entire organisation.

The NWU works with RCH nursing managers to ensure all wards and departments have the skilled nursing workforce they need to meet operational requirements and deliver the high-quality patient care to all RCH patients.
