The Scholastic Book Bunker is a children’s library within the RCH that can be used by patients, their siblings and families.

Inpatients can borrow up to five books at a time and may visit the library as often as they like during their stay. Patients unable to leave their bedside can borrow books from library trollies that visit the wards, or they can request a book to be brought up to their room by one of the Book Bunker librarians. Outpatients waiting for appointments are also welcome to visit, sit and read, or listen to a story.

The Book Bunker is near the Family Hub on the Ground Floor of the hospital.
