Disability Liaison

Disability liaison officer

  • The Disability Liaison Officer at The Royal Children’s Hospital can help support people with disability, their families and carers to use hospital services and access the care and treatment they need. What Disability Liaison Officers do

    • Support people with a disability, their families and carers to access COVID-19 screening and treatment
    • Support people with a disability, their families and carers to access other services across RCH and their usual health services
    • Work with your health care teams to provide safer, accessible and more inclusive care during your hospital stay and outpatient clinic appointments.
    • Assist with accessing services such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
