  • Speech Pathology at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) is committed to teaching and supporting our colleagues in both metropolitan and rural communities through education and training. The Speech Pathology department is also committed to the education and training of undergraduate and post graduate Speech Pathology students and the RCH staff.

    Speech pathology students and observation requests

    The Speech Pathology Department offers clinical placements to different universities each year. These clinical placements are organised centrally through the universities and VicPlace. Due to the number of students who undertake clinical placements within our department we are usually unable to accommodate additional student placement requests. 

    Our ability to support observational requests from qualified Speech Pathologists is limited, but those seeking this support should contact us (see contact details) to obtain an Observational Request Form.

    Work experience requests

    The Speech Pathology Department does not accept any requests for work experience placements.
