Initial work-up

• Urinalysis
• Stool MC&S
• FBE with diff
• LFT's 
• U&E's
• Total IgA, coeliac serology if there is gluten in the child's diet.
• Abnormal coeliac serology from above investigations.

Recommended pre-referral treatment

• Do not stop gluten.

When to refer

• Refer for further evaluation and possible gastroscopy.
