Patient Family Centered Care

  • The Royal Children's Hospital is committed to partnering with patients and families in the provision of care.

At The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) delivery of health care will be based on partnerships between patients, families and all those involved in their care.

This procedure outlines some of the ways in which this will be achieved, using principles of informed choice, collaborative decision-making and the inclusion of families and carers as partners in the delivery of care, as well as the provision of a patient and family-centred environment and facilities.
