MacGill graduated from Melbourne university and completed Plastic Surgery
training in 1992. She then completed fellowships in clefts, burns and head and
neck cancer in the UK and London. On her return she was offered a position at
Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne where she has been ever since.

had various roles at the RCH and is currently the Program Lead for general
plastic surgery. Her other interest is surgical education and she is currently
studying for a Masters in Surgical Education.
