Corporate Communications at the RCH manages all media contact  for hospital staff, patients and their families. 

It’s essential to first speak with our Communications team on 9345 5138 before allowing media to visit your child in hospital. This team manages all media contact (including calls and visits) for hospital staff, patients and their families. 

If your child becomes the subject of media interest, our Communications team is available to support and advise you – whether you would prefer to speak to the media yourself, or to have us handle all media enquiries on your behalf.

It’s important to be aware that media cannot come into the hospital without permission from Communications, and will will not release any personal information about your child to the media without your consent.
