  • International medical graduates (IMGs)

Overseas trained doctors or International Medical Graduates (IMGs) make a significant contribution to care at the RCH, with over 80 IMGs joining the hospital each year. IMGs are an essential part of the medical workforce across Australia; 30% of medical practitioners employed are overseas-qualified.

Our IMGs have come from over 50 countries, many have returned home to implement a new standard of care.

Visit the Medical Workforce Unit pages for more information on International Medical Graduate positions.
