New Consultant Hospital Wide Program

  • The New Consultant mentoring program aims to provide collegiate discussions and support among the peer cohort, and create awareness of the need for mentoring avenues for both professional and personal support.

How the New Consultant Hospital Wide Program Works

The program is based on monthly meetings of the peer cohort, facilitated by the senior mentors with a curricula of themes to be discussed each month which was determined by a collaborative group process (e.g. dealing with stress, uncertainty, time management). Discussions are case-based and draw on Kolb’s reflective learning cycle.
