UBA inlcudes assay of Noradrenaline, Adrenaline, Dopamine, Homovanillic Acid (HVA) and Hydroxy Indole Acetic Acid (HIAA).

Special Requirements: Patient should avoid ingestion of bananas 24 hrs prior to commencement of urine collection.

Lab Notes: Must be acidified within 2hr of collection with 6M HCl. refer to SR-W-012 or SR-P-007.

As of 24/03/15:Foward the whole acidified sample to Complex Biochemistry, a minimum of 4mL is preferred. Complex will return specimen to Biochemistry to perform the Creatinine.

Weekly Tuesday -  result by Friday.
