This test will be discontinued as of 30th August 2016.
Faecal elastase is the recommended test for diagnosis or exclusion of severe and moderate exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
LAB NOTES:
If specimen cannot be tested within 24 hrs of collection (e.g. week-ends / public holidays), freeze at -80°C
