Please Note: If Troponin or Troponin T is requested, only Troponin I is performed. Troponin I is a high sensitivity assay.

LAB NOTES

Assay may be performed on samples that have been stored at RT for up to 8 hours. Do not assay samples stored at RT for > 8 hours. 

An ‘add on’ can ONLY be performed on serum and plasma samples stored for up to 2 days at 2-8°C.  

If a STORE sample is available then it is acceptable for ‘add on’.
