Interstate Referred Specimens:

Please organise for the sample to be collected from the patient in the afternoon and for the courier to deliver the sample to the RCH Immunology Laboratory by 9:00am the following morning.

The sample must be transported at room temperature. Ensure the sample is appropriately insulated to provide protection from fluctuations in ambient temperature during transport.

 Locally Referred Specimens:

All samples must arrive in the RCH Immunology Laboratory by 11:00am on the day of collection.

Laboratory Notes:

Do NOT spin or aliquot (specimen needs to be kept sterile). Keep at room temperature.
