18mL EDTA blood AND 6mL Serum  

If difficult collections from a child, 2-4mL Serum GEL only.

Requesting clinician must book test with Lifeblood (platelet and neutrophil laboratory) - ring 9694 0354 before collection.

Test only performed Mondays to Thursdays.

COLLECTION STAFF NOTES: Do NOT collect samples on Fridays as test not performed on this day.

SPECIMEN RECEPTION NOTES:
Samples must arrive at testing laboratory wihin 48 hours of collection.

Do NOT spin. Store and send samples to external laboratory at room temperature.

Mondays-Thursdays; Test MUST be booked with Lifeblood (platelet and neutrophil laboratory).  Clinician to ring 9694 0354 before collection to confirm booking.
