If received before 11.00hrs Mon-Fri (excluding public holidays):

-Send to testing laboratory with the scheduled 11.00hrs metropolitan courier.

If received after 11.00hrs Mon-Fri, on weekends or public holidays:

-Contact requesting Doctor

-Determine if can wait until next weekday 11.00hrs scheduled courier or if must be sent urgently.

-Organise external courier for transport to referral lab if urgent
