Breath Hydrogen Testing is not available for children under the age of 2 unless requested by Paediatrician/Gastroenterogist.

PATHOLOGY COLLECTION

If patient is under 2 years of age and is referred externally to RCH please ascertain if requesting doctor is paediatrician.  If the referring practitoner is GP please inform patient that Breath Hydrogen testing is not performed on children under the age of 2 unless requested by Paediatrician/Gastoenterologist.
