Citrate Must be venous or arterial collection, NOT capillary

Must arrive in the laboratory within 1 hr collection. 

LAB NOTES: 

If request is urgent, test on arrival otherwise aliquot plasma and store at -70°C in the Factor Assays Pending box.

Add-On Tests - check with Haematology first (see CH-W-148)

 Coagulation screen performed with Factor XIII assay. Only one sample tube required for both tests.
