Duodenal tissue

Place the biopsy specimen in the centre of a piece of Parafilm about 3cm square, and fold the Parafilm over the specimen so that it forms an envelope around the specimen. Then place this in a capped plastic tube with an appropriate label.

Keep cold. Send to laboratory on ice.

Lab Notes: Store frozen. 

If sending sample from an External Laboratory, transport on dry ice. Do not pack dry ice in a sealed container.  Use appropriate PPE.
