Deliver to Specimen Reception within 15 minutes of collection.
Protein & Glucose is always performed when microscopy & culture is requested.
LAB NOTES:
Forward CSF requests for MC&S to RCH Haematology at all times
Bacteriology will forward CSF to virology if viral detection is also required
