2 x 5ml BD PPT.

Comments

Includes HBV, HCV & HIV. This test can only be requested in relation to transplants and Stem Cell Therapy

If samples are required to be collected after 9am Friday - Specimen Reception must be notified on #54800 to arrange courier same day.

LABORATORY NOTES

1. DO NOT CENTRIFUGE - Store whole blood at 2-8 . C
2. External Client NAT request form (SR-E-003) is to be completed
3. Specimens must be sent to external referred lab within 72 hours of collection.

Special packing configurations & transport arrangements required - see SR-P-008.

Monday to Friday : Send with routine daily Metropolitan Courier.

Sat/Sun/PH : Book external courier

(if not possible to transport within 72 hours of collection refer to SR-P-008 for speical instructions re centrifugation and freezing of plasma)
