  • Preparing for your telehealth video-call

    Making a Test call will check your internet connection, webcam, microphone and speakers. Your video call will not be answered by an RCH staff member.

    Remember to check that you are using a Google Chrome web-browser prior to clicking the Test call button.

    What you will need for the video-call appointment

    • Google Chrome web-browser OR the Healthdirect App (for Apple users)
    • A device (computer, laptop, tablet or iPad, smartphone) with a camera, microphone and audio output
    • Internet connection

    Check your environment

    • Ensure your location is private and well-lit
    • Close any programs that you might have running on your device 
    • Have a your phone or mobile nearby in case we experience any technical issues
