Early Language in Victoria Study (ELVS)

ELVS is a community study which aims to learn more about how language develops in young children. In particular, we aim to learn more about why language development is more difficult for some children. We hope this information will help in developing early intervention and prevention programs for children who are at risk for language impairment. Originally the study planned to follow the children until they were 4 years old, but we recently obtained funding from the NHMRC for a follow-up study, so we are now following the children until they are 7 years old!
