Telephone advisory service
The Safety Centre provides trained and experienced safety consultants to respond to information requests from the general public.?Please telephone the Safety Centre to make an appointment on (03) 9345 5085, before coming in to visit.
Most requests are from parents, carers, health professionals, teachers and students.
Advice frequently requested includes information on car restraints, kitchen and bathroom safety, guidelines for purchasing nursery furniture, toy safety and outdoor safety.? Advice is also offered on a range of safety products and their availability.? Referral is often made to many other safety promotion organisations that?provide specific support and resources.?
Families with special needs children or those wanting individual advice on home safety are welcome to make an appointment with a safety consultant in the Safety Centre.
