Rheumatology Outpatient Clinics at the RCH

The Rheumatology team is available for patient consults at outpatient clinics and for patients admitted to the Royal Children's Hospital.

Outpatient Clinics

When: Each Thursday

Time: 9am - 12 noon and 2pm - 5pm

Where: Red or Green desks, ground floor RCH Outpatient Department

Making an appointment

You will need a referral from your child's family doctor or specialist.  Once you have received this, please fax or send it to:

Cancelling or changing an appointment

If your child has an appointment you would like to cancel or change, please contact us.

What you need to bring to your child's outpatient appointment

  • An up-to-date doctor's referral (if this hasn't already been sent or faxed to us)
  • Any medical imaging your child has had (eg: x-rays, ultrasound, MRI etc)
  • Any recent blood test results
  • Your child's Medicare card
  • Your child's health care card if you have one
  • Your child's Health Record
  • Your child's Immunisation record

Referrals to allied health members of the rheumatology team are made by your rheumatologist as needed.
