About RCH Early Learning

The Royal Children's Hospital Child Care Centre

The Royal Children's Hospital Staff Early Learning is registered for 81 equivalent full time children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age. There are 77 places allocated to the Royal Children's Hospital staff. The remaining 4 places are available for occasional sibling care.   We are a fully accredited centre, utilising Hospital and Community resources within the City of Melbourne.

Accreditation

The National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) aims to support families in finding quality care for their children. NCAC assists families by setting quality standards for services, which are providing care for children. These standards aim to ensure children’s health and safety and to promote play, learning and development through positive experiences and interactions.

The RCH Early Learning is fully accredited and will be validated again in 2012. Our results for our last validation visit are as shown below.
