Research and statistics show that volunteering is on the decline, and if the wonderful work of Auxiliaries is to continue we must ensure that the public is involved in our cause.
Girls Day Out is an event for Auxiliary members and members of the public to attend an information day at the hospital. This is a great chance for auxiliary members to get up to date on all our fantastic new campaigns and for the public to learn more about the work that Auxiliaries do, with a view to becoming involved
As a part of the information day there will be interactive stands on all new our new endeavours including:
And much more!

"The mind set and awareness amongst young people today is of concern for a world they will soon be responsible for." |
The Young Set @ RCH is a concept developed to ultimately establish a relationship between the hospital and young people throughout Victoria.
The concept was created in order to meet the increasing demand of young people between the ages of 14-25yrs, who are interested in extending their community value initiatives in conjunction with The Royal Children's Hospital.
The need and the opportunity to build a relationship between the hospital and youth was most prominent throughout Secondary Schools right across Victoria. The Young Set is an opportunity for schools to be able to provide an outlet for students to meet the needs for their community values programs with the support from the Young Set Team.
It is not only offered to schools, individuals can participate too!
To find out more about how you can be involved visit the Young Set Website!
