This small group raises money by holding a Hoy afternoon once a month, street stalls and a few country markets and raffles. They are also supported by the community with donations of knitting materials, clothing, wooden and knitted toys. The funds they raise go towards supporting the hospital’s Wish List.

Annual Report

Another year has gone by and it was a good year for our small group of ladies having sent $7,500 down to the Good Friday Appeal. We raise this money by holding a Hoy Afternoon once a month. Having stalls at our local Sunday markets. We sit in a shopping plaza two or three times a year with a nice raffle each time. We also have a couple of coach trips to the pokies, which are good fundraisers for us. I would like to thank our men folk for being there for us when we need extra man power. Also a big thankyou to the other ladies who help us with cooking and craft work. I would like to thank Dawn our Secretary and Pat our Treasurer for the great work they both do. And a big thank you to our other members for their hard work and support throughout the year.

Being a small Auxiliary with only 12 members, I feel we had a very good year. We contributed $7000 to the Good Friday Appeal. Fundraising is a wonderful afternoon every month. We run street stalls and raffles during the year. We do have some outside donations in the way of knitted toys and children's knitwear which is greatly appreciated.

I would like to thank the members for what they have done during the year. Also our husbands for giving their help when needed. Thanks to Wilma as Secretary, Pat our Treasurer. Thanks to Joan who helps when Pat is not available, and also to Florence.
