The Heart To Heart Story

Heart to Heart was established by a group of volunteers at the Royal Children's Hospital. The group raises funds to support the families of those patients who are to have major cardiac surgery. In the past year their efforts have funded the purchase of equipment for ward 7 West, and provided financial support for the Heart Throb Camp. They also provide casseroles for parents on 7 West.

Annual Report

Another year has passed, another year of fun and friendship while fundraising! With the help from our members and friends, our fundraising has enabled us to support Seven West and the Cardiac Unit at the Hospital, by purchasing equipment that is needed in these areas.H2HII.jpg

We donated $1,500 to Heart Throb to assist them with running their annual camp. Our fundraising for 2007 has included film days, Cuppa For Kids, Phyls shopping tour, Heart To Heart stalls and raffles. Also we have members working in the Hospital Gift Shop and selling Royal Children’s Hospital bags and merchandise and stalls selling Socks & Jocks and Books.

Margaret Greenwood has had another successful year with the sale of her produce. This past year Mary Richardson was inducted into the Honorary Living Treasures Auxiliary for her many years of dedication to the Hospital. We finished a very successful year of fundraising with a Christmas Luncheon at Langhams at Southbank. Many thanks to members, friends and Auxiliary staff for their generous support and staff for their help, assistance and support.
