The Brimbank toRCH Story

Our members had such a good time collecting money on Good Friday we decided we wanted to do more. So here we are a group of University Students wanting to be part of this fabulous team called Auxiliaries.

Annual Report

The original members have continued to make a huge contribution to the auxiliary and now enter their sixth year of fundraising and campaigning for the RCH. Just as importantly the auxiliary’s membership base, particularly those known as friends of Brimbank ToRCH, has continued to grow and we welcome the efforts of all contributors.

This year was a very successful year of fundraising, done with our traditional enthusiasm and energy, with the highlights of the Good Friday Appeal and a team in the Run for the Kids. Special mention needs to be made to all those involved in this year’s Good Friday Appeal. A band of seasoned members along with new friends of the auxiliary tin-rattled over the long weekend, and produced our greatest ever collection, raising over $8,000. These funds will be used to support key units within the RCH, in which our group has a particular interest. Our appreciation and congratulations go to all those who helped in this effort.

In the future, we hope to strengthen our successful fundraising activities and introduce new activities. Our founding principle of fundraising while having fun at the same time remains a winning formula and we look forward to another year. Once again I would like to thank all the members and friends of the auxiliary who helped through the year, offering their time, effort and resources to make another great year for Brimbank ToRCH.
