The Good Friday Appeal is a unique fundraising activity that brings together people from all parts of the community in a very special way. The common goal is to raise money for The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, and to ensure that all children with life threatening illnesses receive the best possible medical and clinical care.
The Herald and Weekly Times and Channel 7 Melbourne are the major supporters of the Good Friday Appeal and are critical to its success. In 2007 3AW 693 and Magic 1278 became the Good Friday Appeal's official radio supporters.

The Royal Children's Hospital Auxiliaries are community groups that are established to raise funds to be applied where most needed or for specific purposes. There are over 80 various Auxiliaries that have formed to support The Royal Children's Hospital clinicians in their quest to help their patients recover from illness and maintain good health and well-being.

RCH1000 is a unique supporter group with a simple aim - to provide over $1 million per annum for research programs to be conducted by The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne and its campus partner Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Activites include informative luncheons at the Hospital and an annual gala dinner.

RESPOND is a new initiative formed to give emergency services personnel a way to come together to raise money to assist children requiring treatment at The Royal Children's Hospital. The group is made up of volunteers from all of the Victorian Emergency Services who fundraise through a wide range of activities.

A Celebration of Life has been created to assist specifically with the fundraising requirements of the Neonatal Unit (NNU) at The Royal Children's Hospital. The major fundraising event for the NNU is the annual Celebration of Life Gala Ball.

The Leukaemia Research Fund was established in 2000 by Michael Williamson to raise vital funds to support research into leukaemia at The Royal Children's Hospital. The annual "Night With Sporting Legends" in June each year is an instant sell-out.
The Young Set @ RCH is a concept developed to provide a means for young people to participate in ongoing fundraising activities for the Hospital. Young Set helps to meet the increasing demand of young people interested in extending their community value initiatives in conjunction with The Royal Children's Hospital.
