Do you know a staff member who embodies one or all of these values?
Do you have a specific example in mind? Values in Action program aims to identify, acknowledge and celebrate everyday exmples of staff putting our hospital values into action.
These awards will complement the annual hospital awards which are presented at the Annual General Meeting.
Values in Action:

All staff members are encouraged to identify and nominate individuals and teams who put our values into action. Values in Action is designed to be driven by the staff.
All RCH staff have the opportunity to nominate colleagues they believe deserve recognition for striving to embody the RCH values.
Eligibility
All employees and RCH volunteers are eligible to be nominated and to submit nominations in the Values in Action recognition program.
Process
Staff are encouraged to nominate either via the online nomination form or a hardcopy nomination form. A representative group that was involved with the Staff Survey will review the nominations.
The panel will review the nominations based on selection criteria. The panel will contact the successful recipients. Nominations will be deemed unsuccessful where the action described is thought to be a basic expectation by the panel.
The form of recognition will be tailored to suit the recipient. Choices may range from morning tea within their department or with the executive team to movie tickets.
Recipients will be congratulated on the staff recognition website and in KidsTalk.
Nominations
Anyone can make a nomination via the online nomination form, or by using the paper form (PDF 176KB).
