Unfortunately the PATS program at the Centre for Adolescent Health is finishing up its last group at the end of September (2007) due to insufficient funding. Please note that other PATS programs in and around Melbourne are continuing and you can check out their details in the 'contact us' link. In PATS it is recognised that mental illness not only affects the parent who is ill, but raises many issues for their children, particularly during adolescence.
TARGET GROUP - PATS is targeted at people aged 12 - 18 years who have a parent affected by mental illness.
PATS PROGRAM - An 8-week group of six to eight young people. The groups are facilitated by a peer leader and a health professional
