About the Outpatient Department

The Outpatient Department at The Royal Children's Hospital provides a comprehensive range of outpatient services. There is an extensive range of medical, surgical and allied health outpatient clinics held throughout the hospital at various locations.

Most outpatient clinics are held between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

If you are unable to attend, would like to change or cancel your appointment, please contact the Outpatients Department by phone.

Appointment reminders

If you have registered a mobile telephone contact number with us, you may receive a SMS text message to remind you of your appointment. If you do not want this reminder sent to you, please call us on 9345 6180.

When you register as a new patient and would like a SMS text message reminder for your appointment/s sent to your mobile telephone please ensure that you include your mobile telephone number on the patient registration form.
