Occupational Therapy Research
Research Mission Statement
The aim of research undertaken by the Occupational Therapy Department at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) is to contribute to the evidence base of tertiary care paediatric occupational therapy. We seek to achieve this by working collaboratively with relevant disciplines and organisations both within and external to the RCH, including associated tertiary institutes and other paediatric occupational therapy service providers.
Links and Partnerships
The Occupational Therapy Department has links with the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI), the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation and the major tertiary institutes where occupational therapy studies are undertaken. Occupational Therapy research activities conducted within The Royal Children’s Hospital are predominantly associated with the Critical Care and Neurosciences Research Theme within MCRI.
