VicPOTs

VicPOTs is an e-mail network for Victorian Paediatric Occupational Therapists.

What is the purpose of VicPOTs?

To provide an efficient communication system to share information related to service provision that is Victorian specific.

This may include information on:

  • OT services and programs
  • service development
  • best practice
  • students
  • research
  • resources
  • equipment
  • professional education opportunities in Victoria
  • Victorian OT positions vacant

N.B  Clinically specific information is not to be posted on VicPOTs as Paediatricots (paediatricots@lists.health.nsw.gov.au) an Australian e-mail network already serves this purpose.

Who can join VicPOTs?

Any Victorian paediatric occupational therapist. Membership to the group is moderated. This means that while people can subscribe themselves, their actual membership is subject to approval by the group's administrator. This is to ensure the privacy of discussions - those outside the group (such as the general public) cannot access them.

How do I subscribe?

If you would like to join VicPOTs simply send an email to join-vicpots@lyris.wch.org.au.

How do I unsubscribe?

If you no longer wish to receive e-mails from VicPOTs, unsubscribe by sending an email to leave-vicpots@lyris.wch.org.au

User guidelines:

  • Once you are a member of VicPOTs you can post a question or issue by simply sending mail to vicpots@lyris.wch.org.au
  • Please include VicPOTs in the subject line to help identify that the e-mail is related to VicPOTs.
  • To reply to a question or issue you will simply reply to a message sent to you via the mailing list. By default your reply will only go to the sender.
  • If you are having problems with the system you will need to email adam.leadoux@rch.org.au
  • It is expected that VicPOT users will be professional at all times.

Support for setting up and monitoring VicPOTs has been provided by the OT Department, ERC and the Parkville Auxillary at the Royal Children's Hospital.

OT Managers Paediatric Hospitals

OTMgrsPaedsHospitals is an e-mail network for Managers of Occupational Therapy Departments in Australasian Paediatric Hospitals.

What is the purpose of OTMgrsPaedsHospitals?

To provide an efficient communication system to share information related to management of and service planning for OT services in paediatric hospitals in Australia & NZ.

N.B  Clinically specific information is not to be posted on OTMgrsPaedsHospitals as Paediatricots (paediatricots@lists.health.nsw.gov.au) an Australian e-mail network already serves this purpose.

Who can join OTMgrsPaedsHospitals?

Any Manager of an Occupational Therapy Department in an Australian or NZ Paediatric Hospital
