Once a year, the Ophthalmology Department at the Royal Children's Hospital holds the Paediatric Ophthalmology Seminar. This seminar is designed for ophthalmology registrars in their 2nd and 3rd year of training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. It is a three-day intensive short course that aims to provide participants with a combination of didactic teaching, problem solving, informal discussion as well as “hands-on experience” to enable them to approach paediatric ophthalmological problems confidently.
The date for the seminar this year will be from 19-21 October 2012. An expression of interest will be posted on the RANZCO website by July 2012.
