Network groups initiated by the MRUFD

Consistent with our aim to foster translational research, the MRUFD has initiated two cross-sector network groups in the fields of dental malformation and biomolecular analysis.

The D3 Group

Growing from MRUFD interests in the cause and prevention of Developmental Dental Defects (DDD), we recently established a study group called The D3 Group. Meetings have been held regularly since 2007, attracting a broad range of presentations covering basic science through to clinical and public health issues. More information.

Proteomics and Metabolomics Victoria (PMV)

ProteomicsLogo.jpgBuilding on his experience in protein analysis and biochemistry, Prof. Hubbard spearheaded the establishment of a cross-sector network that embraces two leading research technologies called proteomics and metabolomics. These types of biomolecular analysis hold great potential for MRUFD members, particularly in the development of knowledge that could lead to novel diagnostics and biomonitoring applications.
