Smoking Parent smoking is an important child and adolescent health issue. Family Resource Centre

A quiet, friendly, relaxing area for families within the hospital, but away from the busy noise and stress of the hospital environment.

Finding your way around, facilities, parking, what to bring to hospital etc.

Learning difficulties

Assessment and treatment for children with specific difficulties in learning reading, spelling, writing and mathematics. Parents, teachers or health professionals can refer children directly to the service.

Safety information

Home, holiday, pets and car safety, first aid training, safety shop and more. Factsheets.

Schooling

The Education Institute helps children keep up or catch up with school work and get back to school when they have been unwell or have additional needs.
