Pharmacy department information on medicines
The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Pharmacy Department has information leaflets on some medicines that may be prescribed for children. You can get these from your RCH pharmacist or doctor, or from the RCH Medicine Information website.
- The leaflets answer common questions about your/your child's medicine.
- They do not take the place of talking to your/your child's doctor or pharmacist.
- They do not contain all available information.
The leaflets include information that is current at the time of writing.
Medicine may be used in children in different ways or for different reasons than in adults. For more information go to Medicines for Children.
Please look under Medicines on the categories page for information on some medicines given in hospital.
If you have any concerns about your/your child's medicine, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
