Practical Paediatrics Program online

    Welcome to The Royal Children's Hospital online GP education program: The Practical Paediatrics Program Online (PPPO). This program has been developed through a partnership with The Department of Paediatrics, The University of Melbourne.

    Whilst the program is aimed at General Practitioners, medical students,nurses and allied health professionals are welcome to complete the educational activities. 

    There are new activities for 2017-19 and additional activities will be added during the triennium. All activities have CPD accreditation with the RACGP and pending ACRRM accreditation.

    There is no cost for this program.

     In general, activities follow a format consisting of:

    1. Introduction: Speaker bio and learning objectives
    2. Education package: Video/audio content, quiz questions and additional downloadable reading material and/or handouts.
    3. Evaluation: Required by the RACGP or ACRRM in order to get your CPD points. Have your RACGP/ACRRM number on hand.

    Please note:

    • Activities are designed to take 45mins-1 hour to complete unless stated otherwise.
    • Headphones or speakers are required with most activities.
    • RACGP/ACCRM CPD points will be allocated approximately every 6 months.  
    • The activities will close on Nov 22nd 2019.
