Prior to completing an Application for the Paediatric Rotating Rosters in 2010, it is important you read the following information:

There are significant changes to the Nights rosters at both RCH and MMC for 2010 click here. Referee forms MUST now be completed by at least ONE Senior Nurse or Allied Health Professional, along with the usual two Consultants, as in the past.

Please complete the following forms and E-MAIL to the Medical Workforce Unit at jms.applications @rch.org.au before COB 24th August 2009

  • 2010 APPLICATION FORM -  For Individual applicants to the Rotating Registrar Positions.
  • 2010 JOB-SHARE APPLICATION FORM - For Applicants who will be applying for a specific Job-Share roster (please note Job-Share applicants must BOTH apply separately)
  • 2010 REFEREE FORM - To be sent to Two Consultants AND one NUM/ANUM or ALLIED HEALTH professional. Must be returned one week prior to interview.
  • 2010 ROTATING REGISTRAR ROSTERS PREFERENCES - Ensure you complete this preference sheet and include with your emailed application, as you will be applying to Specific rosters.  Please note: that you must only apply to a roster that you will be prepared to work if offered. Your application to the RCH Rotating Rosters is for specific rosters, so if you only choose 5 rosters for example, you will only give yourself 5 chances to secure a post with us. If you want to have more opportunities to be offered a position, then choose more rosters. Once we have exhausted your preferences, we will not come back to you with an offer of a roster you have not chosen, so please carefully consider all rosters and your options should your preferences not be available to you. Your application will not be considered complete until you have submitted this preference sheet.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This year you MUST have 2 Consultant Referees and one NUM/ANUM OR ALLIED HEALTH referee

PLEASE NOTE: Certified copies of a Working with Children Check (WWC) and Victorian Medical Registration will only apply to local trainees. We do not expect copies if you are not currently registered to work in Victoria as a Medical Practitioner.
