Services
The Immunology laboratory is a referral centre for Victoria and Tasmania for the following tests:

Evaluation of immune function including neutrophil function, lymphocyte function and phenotyping.

Measurement of specific IgG response to Tetanus, Haemophilus type B and Streptococcus Pneumoniae Vaccination.

Allergy testing, including total IgE and specific IgE to 51 allergens.
-
Measurement of serum IgG subclass levels and IgD.
-
Diagnostic assays for investigation of autoimmune disorders.
Clinical services are available through the Clinical Allergy Immunology Department at RCH
